Is it acceptable to change the Presenting Officer or Co-employee (Defence Assistant) during a domestic enquiry process?

​Changes to the Presenting Officer (PO) or Defence Representative are permitted if supported by a valid reason (such as conflict of interest, unavailability, transfer, or at the employee’s request), with all parties informed in writing, adequate preparation time given, fairness and impartiality maintained, and the reasons duly recorded in the enquiry proceedings.
