Suppose a settlement reached in conciliation expires as per the provisions of the ID Act, 1947. Does it stop binding immediately?

 A settlement reached in conciliation does not end automatically when its initial period expires. Under Section 19(2) and (3) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, the settlement remains in effect even after its expiry until two months have passed from the date one party gives written notice to end it.
