Ten employees absented in concert without notice/cause; employer deducted 10 days wages each. Is such deduction automatically valid in Law?

​No, a 10-day deduction per person is not automatically valid. The proviso to Section 9(2) only permits up to 8 days’ wages in lieu of notice and even that is conditional.
