Indranil Banerjee

Indranil Banerjee, B.Sc. (Hons.) and MBA during his more than three decades of experience exposed to thermal, hydro, solar, pump storage generations, distributions, HR, Training, Regulatory and Customer issues of the State-owned power major is now in the rank of Addl General Manager, heading the Law cell of the Company.
He is serving people development role as in-house faculty to the Company for last 16 years covering wide areas of functional and behavioral training, management development program and work-shops.
He has more than hundred publications on contemporary management practices with leading journals. A sought-after speaker often extends mentorship to the budding managers. He is the life member of the All India Management Association (AIMA), Indian Society of Training & Development (ISTD), National Human Resource Development Network (NHRDN) and National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) where he served the institutions honorary at various capacities.
Currently he is the Vice President and Vice Chairman of Calcutta Management Association (CMA) and Kolkata Chapter of NIPM. He is a nominated Member, National Council of HR & IR Policies & Reforms of ASSOCHAM.
A Physics enthusiastic and currently a Research Scholar of Business Administration department of Burdwan University, he contributes meaningfully for the profession collaborating with the stakeholders through his volunteer online platform HR@8PM.
