Noshir is one of the voluntary sector's foremost consultants on Legal Compliance and Good Governance for non-profits as also on Corporate Social Responsibility. Noshir has a very diverse understanding and experience of the laws matched with a practical background of consultations with several non-profits large and small. He has also conducted several training sessions for NGOs, corporates, business schools not only locally, but also overseas. Thus, he is able to bring multiple perspectives to any topic. His sessions ensure that the technical legal jargon is demystified and simplified, and participants enjoy his witty anecdotes and actual case studies. Those lucky enough to attend his training sessions courses walk away with loads of extra insights not included in resource books or theory sessions.

His current international affiliation includes serving as Director on the board of the International Centre for Non-profit Law (ICNL). Earlier he was on the Board of Worldwide Initiative & Network of Grant-makers (WINGS) as also Asia Pacific Philanthropy Consortium (APPC).

In India, he serves as a trustee on several Foundation and NGO boards such as Forbes Foundation, Everest Industries Foundation, Happy Home and School for the Blind and Bombay Community Trust among others. 

Noshir has authored several resource books including The Art of Successful Fund Raising; Management of Philanthropic Organizations and Merchants of Philanthropy. He is also the regional contributing editor of the International Journal on Non-profit Law, NGO Law Monitor and is co-author of an internationally acclaimed publication titled, Philanthropy and Law in South Asia.

He has been invited as a guest speaker at many international conferences. He also conducts seminars and workshops for grant-makers, companies and the generally the development sector across the country. Noshir is visiting faculty member, guest speaker at leading business schools such as the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research and forums like Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), Chambers of Commerce etc.​
